Leading Mobile Identity Verification Solution Now Expands Client Choice, Supports TWIC Card Validation and Adds Robust Dashboard Reporting

Cambridge, Mass., October 20, 2008–CoreStreet, the leader in credential validation solutions, today announced enhancements to the CoreStreet PIVMAN suite of products, the preferred solution for rapid electronic authentication and validation for the emergency response community. Now available in its third version, the suite features expanded platform support and functionality for the CoreStreet PIVMAN Client, as well as a graphical dashboard reporting option for the CoreStreet PIVMAN Management Station.

The CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution allows for the electronic verification of:

• FIPS-201 compliant credentials such as the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card and the DoD’s Common Access Card (CAC) Next Generation;
• FIPS-201 interoperable credentials such as the First Responder Authentication Credential (FRAC) and the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC); and,
• Supports legacy credentials such as AAMVA compliant drivers’ licenses for all U.S. states and Canadian provinces.

The Solution includes software for handhelds and PCs for both mobile and fixed command stations. It also features a management station to administer the link to the back-end attribute exchanges stood up by the U.S. Department of Defense, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), federal agencies as part of their HSPD-12 initiatives and state and local governments. These infrastructures are typically provided by shared service providers such as Verizon Business.

Now able to run on Windows XP-based PCs and Windows-based handhelds, the Client has been tested and certified for the DAP CE3240B handheld from Roper Mobile Technology, the Be.U Mobile SMC-800 handheld from Cross Match Technologies as well as the DSV2+Turbo handheld from Datastrip.

The new CoreStreet PIVMAN Dashboard is a graphical reporting tool used to visualize the data collected by the CoreStreet PIVMAN Management Station from the handhelds and PCs running the CoreStreet PIVMAN Client. Charts and graphs can be generated based on specific parameters including cardholders, credential types presented, issuer of the credential and transaction results.

The CoreStreet PIVMAN Solution aggregates attribute information from a variety of trusted sources for emergency access to government buildings or disaster sites as part of the National Preparedness Framework. The solution works within a multi-jurisdictional first responder trust model, leveraging existing standards set forth in HSPD-12 and the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) guidance for identity. It also utilizes National Response Framework ESF (Emergency Support Function) codes and National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) Sector numbers for attributes as defined by the National Preparedness Directorate within FEMA. The core standard for credential interoperability is provided by FIPS-201.
