BELLINGHAM, WA, March 16, 2004–Accelitec, Inc., a provider of retail RFID technology, solutions and services today announces its membership in the Smart Card Alliance, (SCA), a not-for-profit organization formed in 2000 for the purpose of educating business and the public about the technology and its many uses.
SCA membership provides Accelitec an important opportunity to support the advancement and use of Contactless Smart Cards in the retail industries. Retail industries (or companies) are becoming strong adopters of the technology at the Point of Sale (POS) level. Accelitec is focused in delivering turnkey private label contactless payment programs for the retail industry.
