Identity on a Mobile Device: Healthcare, Banking and Transportation Use Cases

The Secure Technology Alliance Identity Council hosted the third webinar in its series on mobile identity credential use cases on Sept. 20th, focusing on identity and payment applications in healthcare, banking and transit industries.

The healthcare, banking and transit industries each have unique identity issues that mobile devices can help to solve from both usability and security perspectives. Attendees will come away from this webinar with an understanding of the opportunities and challenges around mobile identity in these industries.

Speakers include: Jeffrey Fountaine, Ingenico Group; Judy Keator, SecurKey Technologies; Jerry Kane, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA); Tom Lockwood, NextgenID, Inc.; and Randy Vanderhoof, Secure Technology Alliance.

The first two webinars in the series presented mobile driver’s licenses, derived PIV credentials and access control use cases and are available at https://www.securetechalliance.org/identity-on-a-mobile-device-webinar-series/.  Additional webinars in the series are expected to be scheduled later this fall.
